I always start tutoring by assessing how my students learn. From there I am able to target their understanding through learning tools they will be able to grasp and process. From there, depending on where you are in your respective term, we can move forward and create a plan together that will be at a pace you can handle. I am a huge supporter of the idea that you do no move on from a subject unless it has been understood. This approach allows the student to build on fundamental concepts. Once we target these fundamentals areas, the complex ideas become much less threatening. Every plan is different because every student is different.
