About Kat
I love seeing the light come on inside a child when they suddenly start to understand a concept--it never gets old! I want to show children that learning is fun, and that nothing should ever stop them from learning.
I am currently a homeschooled high school student, but have also been simultaneously taking college-level classes at my local community college (currently Calculus 1).

My sessions are mostly geared toward helping young elementary school students understand the basics of mathematics.
I believe that students should learn at their own pace and that my lesson plans must be catered to fit each child's individual needs. As someone who struggled with math as a child (and has now grown up to love it) I want to help other kids out of their struggles too.
