About Lindsay

My name is Lindsay Fulton and I am a sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I love kids and helping others achieve their goals. I am a big dog lover and often dog sit in my free time. Reading is one of my favorite hobbies along with checking out new coffee shops and new movies. I enjoy making friends with everyone and making sure everyone feels welcome.

About the lesson

I spend valuable time with students to fully understand their needs and what learning technique works best for them. I build strong individualized lesson plans including textbook work, worksheets, presentations, games, etc. I find it important to let the student know that tutoring is not a bad thing and I am there for them as both a teacher and a friend. You shouldn't dread learning and I want to help students realize that they can accomplish anything. Kids often feel discouraged due to inability to understand material taught in class but in reality it is very common and sometimes they just need someone to spend one-on-one time with them, helping them learn their way. I needed tutors all throughout school which is why I became a tutor in the first place...to help kids realize that a little extra help can allow you to conquer anything.
