About Adison

My teaching experience spans multiple levels of education. As a middle school paraeducator, I helped students build strong foundations in reading and writing, tailoring lessons to meet individual needs. Now, as a high school tutor at Waterloo High School, I support students with advanced topics like essay writing, literary analysis, and developing critical thinking skills, ensuring they gain confidence in their abilities.

About the lesson

Having completed accelerated English and AP writing classes during high school, I honed my skills in critical analysis, effective communication, and advanced writing techniques. My dedication to language arts extended beyond the classroom when I competed at Allstate in the Original Oratory category, where I demonstrated exceptional public speaking and persuasive writing abilities.

Additionally, I have practical teaching experience as a paraeducator in middle school language arts, where I worked closely with students to improve their reading comprehension, grammar, and writing skills. This role taught me how to tailor my approach to meet diverse learning needs, ensuring each student felt supported and empowered.

As an online tutor, I aim to bring enthusiasm, patience, and a student-centered approach to every session. I am committed to fostering a positive learning environment where students can develop their English skills
