About Malia

I’m currently a sophomore in college and graduated high school with an advanced diploma. English has always been my strongest subject; I’ve always been in the highest level of English offered at the schools I attended throughout the years, which in my case were gifted and honors programs. When everyone in my class received failing grades on their essays and had to rewrite them, I was always the only one who got an A on the assignment. Additionally, I’ve taken three years of ASL and consider myself intermediate with a proficient understanding of the grammatical structure, and I have experience in resume building as I’ve had to write my own for prospective jobs and college applications. I’ve attended various professional seminars held by reputable professors and companies such as Deloitte on resume building and interview preparation.

About the lesson

I have a niche for grammar, spelling, proper punctuation, and writing structure. In our lessons, I’ll help you in whatever area(s) you bring to my attention, and provide you with the help you need for your specific assignment and/or goals. If you need proofreading, I will provide constructive but respectful criticism. For ASL, I will help you understand whatever you need to improve on. If you need help building a resume, I will guide you! Please note that I am by no means a professional or certified tutor, I just happen to be good in these subjects!
