About Sadie
I am a student at Mary Baldwin University. Over the summer, I work as the english and music theory teacher at Lake Arbor Summer Enrichment Camp. I love seeing my students succeed! Seeing them grow to become better readers and writers is what makes me happy. I found my passion for writing at a very young age and I strive to help other young people develop their reading and writing skills. I have worked with all types of students from ages 6-17. From my experience with working at the camp and the writing center in high school, I have been able to teach a wide variety of students.

I like to do student-centered teaching. Teaching to pass a test does not produce the long term results that we strive for. I teach in a way that prepares students for class and improves their overall reading and writing skills. I really listen to my students and help them where they think they need the most help. This way, we can work together to improve their skills and boost their confidence!
