I am a college student majoring in English Secondary Education and have experience tutoring reading/English during my senior year of highschool at my private school. I love developing and instilling the same passion that I have for reading in others and helping them realize that reading can take you so many places!

My teaching approach is first identifying what learning method my student absorbs the most material under. After identifying that, I would practice reading aloud with them and try to discern which area of reading they are struggling with the most. I am an adamant believer that perfect practice makes perfect performance. Also, finding out what genre and style of books my student enjoys to help encourage reading during free time.
