About Ella
I have years of experience teaching and encouraging young people to think creatively, find their passions and articulate them with eloquence. I worked for Twin Eagles Wilderness School and NOVA school of inclusion, two communities with deep values of student/mentor relationships being founded on trust and mutual respect. I believe questions that can’t be answered are sometimes the best gifts to open the human mind to new ways of seeing the world. I have seen the most growth in my students when I listen more than I talk, and lead them by guiding them from what they know into a natural process of discovery.

Flexible to the needs of the student, I can jump in at any stage of a writing process; I can hone in on inspiring topics, correct grammar, provide editorial guidance, teach basic persuasive and literary methods to employ in essays, and my ultimate aim is to provide students with be tools they need to become independent thinkers and writers.
