About Zarah
I am a college student offering to tutor GCSE English. Growing up, I didn't necessarily attend the best schools and the school's overall performance was below average. However this didn't restrict my abilities of performing well in my GCSE's and getting an 8 in English Literature. At college now, I study Chemistry, Biology, EPQ and history. Not too long ago, I sent off my medical school applications and hope to study medicine at university- I can also help with med school applications!

My teaching method would be to grasp the student's existing knowledge and then from there focus on their individual weaknesses and strengthen them. To begin with I would share my knowledge and information with the student and allow them make any note of it, then I would go on to completing an activity based on our knowledge combined. Completing an activity would enable the student to understand what has been told them and ensures they would fully understand it. I would then test them on this knowledge- this can be done in various forms: writing tasks, games, general quiz/recall etc.
