About Janise
Hi! I’m Janise—a passionate tutor, full-time mommy to an energetic 4-year-old, and a dedicated college student pursuing my B.S. in Elementary Education. I believe learning should be fun, meaningful, and engaging for all ages, and I love finding creative ways to make that happen!
When I’m not studying or teaching, you’ll usually find me planning our next adventure. I’m absolutely obsessed with all things Disney (especially Walt Disney World!) and love traveling, camping, and making special memories with my family. These experiences inspire my teaching style—I bring creativity, excitement, and real-world connections into every session.
As a tutor, I strive to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel confident, capable, and excited to learn. I tailor my approach to meet each learner’s unique needs and learning style, helping them grow academically while building a love for learning.
I’m also committed to clear and consistent communication. I make it a priority to respond to messages as quickly as possible. If I’m ever traveling or in an area with limited internet service, I will always provide advance notice so you’re never left wondering.

This lesson is designed and delivered by an experienced educator with approximately five years of hands-on classroom experience as a Paraprofessional, Teaching Assistant, and RTI (Response to Intervention) Specialist. Through these roles, I have supported diverse learners across multiple grade levels, providing targeted instruction, small-group interventions, and individualized academic support to help students succeed.
Currently, I am completing my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (BSED), with student teaching scheduled for Spring 2027. This ongoing preparation ensures that my instruction is aligned with current best practices, research-based strategies, and state standards—particularly the Georgia Standards of Excellence.
My lessons are intentionally structured to be engaging, supportive, and student-centered. I incorporate differentiated instruction, interactive activities, and clear learning objectives to meet students where they are and help them grow with confidence. Whether working on foundational skills or extending learning, I strive to create a positive environment where all learners feel capable and motivated.
Upon completion of my program, I will be a licensed educator in the state of Georgia, further strengthening my ability to provide high-quality, standards-based instruction.
