About Elizabeth
I am a sophomore in college, currently studying bioengineering at UCR. As someone who struggled immensely with both math and English as a kid, I know the feeling of frustration of not being able to understand what the teacher was going over in class, and so knowing these feelings, it is my goal to help any one of my students with mastering the skills they needs to succeed in their classes. I am currently back home for the summer (Poway, northern San Diego area), and am available to help for both math and English, up to 8th grade.

I can teach from as young as kindergarten to eighth graders. I like to do an assessment, just to get a feel for where the student is at, as well as discussing goals that they or their parents wish to meet. I will then provide them with different materials and exercises to do when we do not meet, and can be quickly reached by email if any questions come up.
