About Ameer
I have worked with students for the over 15 years and I enjoy helping, guiding, and coaching students toward gaining confidence in particular subjects. I am not what you would call a "traditional" tutor. I won't be using typical material that you might see in a classroom. Instead, I use whatever material that is in the world that you might use day to day in order to make the lesson translatable to everyday life. I enjoy watching students link their studies to every day life. Learning can be fun if we have the right teacher!

My teaching style is centered around connecting to my students first before correction. In my experience I have learned that students retain information more when they have understanding of who is teaching them and as well as who understands their learning style. I emphasize:
- building upon a strong learning foundation
- designing fun and engaging lessons
- meeting the child where they are developmentally
