About Lashaae
I currently work at a nonprofit where I teach math as a part of our GED program (ranging from simple addition and subtraction to geometry to algebra). I also tutor math to high school aged students who attend our afterschool program that may be working on the above, trigonometry and more.

My typical teaching method is to understand how the students thought process is first and then use that to teach them the correct way to do it. I do not just show the how, I explain the why as well because the how might not always apply to every situation.
What sets me apart is that I am patient, I truly love math and always excelled in it in school. I also understand that there is not just one way to math so if one method doesn't work, I am able to show other ways of understanding.
