About Spencer
I am a young entrepreneur looking to explore my ideas while supporting myself through multiple avenues of income. I attend the University of Colorado in Boulder, and am studying business entrepreneurship and computer science. I have been exploring math lessons since 2015, when I began to tutor dozens of different math students through my high-school's tutor program. I am familiar with and comfortable with teaching; algebra, geometry, precalculus, calculus, and statistics. I also have a good understanding of the college application process, what skills are necessary in higher education, and how you can truly be prepared to take the next step in your schooling career.

I try to stray as much as I can from the typical teacher mentality. I believe doing is a much better way to learn than being talked at, so I always try to hit the ground running when tutoring. A lesson with me is expected to be conversational, laid back, yet productive and to the point. This is the best way to learn math in my opinion, along with developing a deeper understanding of why things work the way they do.
