About Chiara
I am a Milan-born student, who recently got back home. I got my B.A. in Philosophy in Pavia (where I was alumna of the Collegio Ghislieri), after which I was awarded a scholarship to start my M.A. in the US. I then spent one more year travelling and working overseas.
Finally, I decided to come back to Italy, in order to go back to Uni and study Cognitive Science.
In the last five years or so I dedicated myself to the aesthetic field, both theoretically and practically: besides my college courses, I attended singing and acting classes.

I gained most of my skills and knowledge through practice rather than theory. Although a solid grammatical basis is always necessary and fundamental for the consistent development of any subject, it is only through functional exercise that a real and efficient ability is created and matured.
Given this, my teaching is based on a varied technique that aims to encourage interest in the language through the use of material consistent with the interests of the student. Specifically, depending on individual preferences and needs, songs, poems, literary texts, cinema, opera and scientific articles of different genres can be study material.
Besides, conversation, general culture and specific grammatical exercises are mandatory parts of classes too.
