• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  I teach coding and technology skills. My interest began with curiosity ,I always loved understanding how things work behind the scenes. When I started learning to program, I was amazed that a few lines of code could create something useful or fun. That simple excitement grew into a passion for building projects, exploring new tools, and helping others discover the magic of technology.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  Teaching gives me a sense of purpose. I love watching students experience those “light-bulb” moments when things suddenly click. Their curiosity, honesty, and imagination make every class unique. Knowing that I can help someone build confidence and discover new skills is what motivates me every day.

• How does your work help society?

  Technology is becoming part of every career, and learning to code teaches more than programming ,it builds problem-solving, creativity, and logical thinking. When learners gain these skills, they become more confident and independent. I believe helping young people develop a strong foundation in technology empowers them to shape their future and contribute positively to society.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  I admire educators like Reshma Saujani, founder of Girls Who Code. She advocates for equal and inclusive access to technology, emphasizing that everyone deserves an opportunity to learn. Her mission reminds me that teaching is not just about the subject, it’s about inspiring confidence and opening doors.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  Outside teaching, I enjoy reading, cooking, and experimenting with new recipes. I also love exploring new tools and creative ideas, which often help me bring fresh perspectives to my classes. Spending time with my family also means a lot to me, they’re my biggest source of joy and balance.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  One of my favorite memories is about a young learner who was initially hesitant to try programming. After a few sessions, they proudly built a small project and showed it to their family. The joy on their face and the confidence they gained from that moment was unforgettable. Seeing students grow from unsure beginners to proud creators is what makes this journey meaningful to me.
