About Charlotte
I completed my Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the University of Idaho, where I mentored young programmers, supported coding clubs, and helped design simple game logic projects for middle-school learners. With 5+ years of online teaching experience, I’ve taught complete beginners, advanced middle-school coders, and high-school students preparing for deeper computer science. I’m known for my encouraging approach, strong structure, and ability to make programming feel exciting and accessible. Programming becomes approachable when taught slowly and clearly. I start with simple logic—how computers read instructions—and then build into Python, SQL, JavaScript, Java, and MATLAB.
As students grow confident, we explore AI basics, understanding how machines learn, and then move into video game programming, where students design characters, movement, scoring, and interactions.
My lessons help students understand coding step-by-step, celebrating every success while turning errors into learning opportunities.
