About Irfan

I am 23 years old and a professional chess player with a peak FIDE rating of 1903. I have played many international tournaments and usually spend time studying other famous chess games during my free time. Able to bring a motivated attitude in my teaching to bring the fun and joy in chess.

About the lesson

My teaching method is by using online applications such as lichess.org or chess.com to teach openings and endgames. Besides that, I will show puzzles to sharpen my pupils pattern recognition. I will also play one or two games with them to see how much they have improved and developed.

Perfect! Irfan is a young and energetic tutor who took the challenge to coach my 7-year-old son who had just started chess.

One of my youngest student, may be small but is very bright for his age. Over the past few days teaching him I've seen some improvements but a few mistake here and there. Also congratz on your first ever tournament with 3 wins. It is a huge victory and acts as a benchmark for you to get better for future games. Hopefully with enough practice and guidance you will gain profit from it. Best of luck, Irfan
