About Claire
Hello, I'm Claire, a second-year student pursuing degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Material Science and Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, I've dedicated myself to tutoring elementary and middle school students in various subjects. Additionally, I've served as a Teaching Assistant for high school-level Math and Chemistry courses. Having been raised in Taiwan, Mandarin is my native language, making me proficient in Mandarin Chinese for editing, translation, and one-on-one conversation sessions. I also offer tutoring in middle and high school Math and Science subjects such as Geometry, Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, and Chemistry. Furthermore, I specialize in preparing students for Speech and Debate competitions, SAT Math exams.
Having applied to college and gotten into more than 15 Top 50 colleges in the US (and more than 5 top 30 universities) I also provide college applications consulting.
