About George
I'm a Clinical Scientist working in an NHS IVF service, with a strong academic background in biological and clinical sciences.
I achieved an A in A-Level Biology, a First-Class Integrated Master's degree in Biological Sciences, and a Distinction in an MSc in Clinical Science (Andrology). My current clinical role allows me to apply biological and scientific principles in a real healthcare setting every day.
I'm passionate about helping students develop a genuine understanding of Biology rather than simply memorising facts. I particularly enjoy breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable ideas and then applying that knowledge to exam-style questions.

I use hour-long sessions to help GCSE and A-Level students achieve their potential. Lessons are tailored to each student. We'll identify areas of difficulty, work through the underlying Biology, practise exam-style questions and use mark schemes to understand how to maximise marks. I'm new to formal tutoring, but have extensive experience studying and applying biological science at university and in a clinical setting in the NHS.
