I believe in order to succeed each person has to be able to approach material in the way that best suits their learning style so I i corporate as many methods of presenting the information as possible. I believe that we first have to have a solid foundation and then build comprehension and synthesis of information. I do not use criticism or negative comments in teaching because I believe it’s demoralizing not motivational. I prefer to use a positive strength based approach to teaching.
