About Sagar

I’m passionate about teaching because I know how challenging pharmacy can be, and I genuinely enjoy helping others build their knowledge and confidence. Throughout my career, I’ve supported students, trainee pharmacists, and colleagues in developing their clinical skills, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see people grow and achieve their goals. My aim is not just to help you pass exams, but to help you become a confident, competent healthcare professional.

I’m currently a Clinical Pharmacist and Independent Prescriber working in Primary Care, where I manage patients with long-term conditions, carry out structured medication reviews, and prescribe independently. I have a particular interest in Type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and evidence-based prescribing, and I enjoy bringing real-life clinical experience into my teaching.

Outside of pharmacy, I’m a big sports fan and enjoy keeping active. I regularly go to the gym and love football and tennis. I’m a lifelong Liverpool FC supporter and completed my pharmacy degree at Liverpool John Moores University, so Liverpool will always have a special place in my heart.

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me watching the football, following the latest tennis tournaments, or catching up with friends over a Nando’s and a cold beer.

I believe learning works best when it’s relaxed, interactive, and enjoyable. Whether you’re preparing for exams, OSCEs, or looking to build confidence in clinical practice, I’ll tailor each session to your individual goals and support you every step of the way

About the lesson

I’m a UK-registered Clinical Pharmacist and Independent Prescriber with several years of experience working in Primary Care Networks (PCNs). I currently manage patients with long-term conditions, carry out structured medication reviews, and independently prescribe within my scope of practice.

I have a particular interest in Type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and evidence-based prescribing, and I’m passionate about helping pharmacy students and qualified pharmacists develop their clinical knowledge and confidence.
