About Chloé
I started studying Latin at the age of seven years and fell in love with the subject immediately. I chose to study Latin for my degree, where I focused on Latin grammar, literature and poetry. My degree also allowed me to explore other areas of the ancient world such as historical and political aspects of the Roman world through authors such as Tacitus and Lucan. I also studied Homer and Greek and Roman history. I am currently studying for my PhD, my research is focused on ruin aesthetics in Lucan and Tacitus. I have a keen interest in Latin grammar, I believe that a sound knowledge of Latin grammar allows for sharper perception of English grammar as well as providing a solid foundation for the study, and improvement, of other European languages.

First class graduate in Latin (BA); modules included Latin poetry and Literature, Roman and Greek history, Homer and Alexander the Great.
