About Cristal
Instruction should be as much about the physical mechanics of playing as it is about the music. Many players struggle because they prioritise the song over the underlying mechanics of BOWING TECHNIQUE and INTONATION.
I have 13 years of experience teaching 462 students how to master these essential components. My lessons incorporate MUSIC THEORY and DOUBLE STOPS to provide a complete foundation for any violinist.
We focus heavily on RHYTHM AND TIMING while mastering SHIFTING POSITIONS and SCALES AND ARPEGGIOS. LEFT HAND AGILITY and SIGHT READING are integrated into every practice session to ensure consistent progress. My approach delivers results.

You receive a diagnostic assessment before setting the practice plan for your upcoming term. Progress relies on pacing that respects your current skill level while pushing boundaries. I hold a BMus Vocal Studies from the Royal College of Music which informs how I analyse complex movements for violinists. This academic background allows me to break down difficult passages into manageable exercises.
8 years of experience in high level coaching confirms that steady development requires clear expectations and consistent feedback. We analyse every stroke to ensure your technique is sound and sustainable. You will understand why certain drills are chosen to fix specific habits. It becomes clear once you start.
