About Ffion
I am a Welsh Soprano who enjoys singing classical, opera and musical theatre repertoire. I can play the piano and harp and enjoy collaborating with students and other musicians. I am a fluent Welsh speaker, therefore am happy to deliver lessons in Welsh or English. I teach because I want to inspire and support the next generations of singers. It brings me so much joy to see students develop and discover new things about both music and themselves. I always like to ensure the student knows what they’re working towards, whether that be learning a new song, working on achieving something technical, or working towards exams and qualifications.

My approach to teaching is a student-led one, where I tailor the lessons based on the individual’s needs. I always strive to create a safe space for the student to feel comfortable to reach their full potential. Establishing a good technical foundation is also at the forefront of my teaching, and ensuring the student has achievable goals in mind to work towards. Most importantly, I want to ensure the student has fun and enjoys the music making we do in and beyond the lessons. Lesson lengths will vary depending on age and level, however will usually be 30/40/60 minutes. I have an LRAM teaching qualification, and teach singing for undergraduates at King’s College London.
