About Wendy
Piano theory and sight transposition become clear when you focus on technical habits. You gain command over hand independence and posture while mastering complex grade exam prep for ABRSM or Trinity. My 3 years of teaching experience help me guide beginners through memorization techniques.
I teach jazz improvisation and pop styles to ensure you grow as a musician. This method works well for over 212 students. I am a direct and disciplined teacher.

Struggling with messy hand position makes playing feel like a physical chore. You will sit at the keys while I demonstrate how to balance your weight for better sound production.
My Bachelor of Music from Manhattan School of Music informs how I break down rhythm for you. We focus on your accompaniment skills and classical repertoire during these 10 segments of instruction.
You receive a short recorded playback of each session so you can review at home. This allows you to track your progress between meetings.
I provide detailed notes on your technique and musicality. You will see steady improvement by observing your own playing on video. The process remains focused on building your confidence and accuracy. You walk away with a clear understanding of your current performance level.
