About Claudia
Claudia is a dynamic and multifaceted musician whose passion for music began at the tender age of 3, when she first sat down at a piano. Born into a family rich with musical heritage, Claudia's journey into the world of music was practically predestined.
At just 8 years old, Claudia's exceptional talent caught the attention of Juilliard's Music Advancement Program, where she honed her skills and laid the foundation for her future as a musician. Her early years were marked by dedication and determination, traits that would serve her well throughout her career.
Expanding her musical horizons beyond the piano, Claudia became a multi-instrumentalist, mastering the upright bass and electric bass with equal finesse. Her thirst for knowledge and experience led her to Berklee College of Music's prestigious Latin Jazz Program in Boston at the young age of 16, where she had the privilege of studying under the guidance of legendary latin-jazz artist Paquito D'Rivera.
Claudia's talent has taken her to some of the most renowned stages in the world, including the illustrious Carnegie Hall-dancing alongside her mother with Calpulli Mexican Dance Company. Yet, amidst her international performances and accolades, Claudia remains deeply connected to her cultural roots. Proud of her Mexican and Jamaican heritage, Claudia draws inspiration from her grandmother, who herself was a trailblazer in the music world, ranking as the #2 pianist in Jamaica. Claudia's grandmother's legacy continues to inspire her as she explores and celebrates the vibrant musical traditions of her heritage.
While Claudia's musical journey has taken her across continents, her heart remains tied to her classical training. A true devotee of music history, Claudia embarked on a transformative journey to Sevilla to immerse herself in the passionate rhythms of flamenco, further enriching her diverse musical palette.
Outside of her musical pursuits, Claudia has also found success in the world of real estate, demonstrating her versatility and entrepreneurial spirit. Despite her busy schedule, she remains committed to nurturing the next generation of musicians, sharing her love for piano and music history with her students.
Now 26, Claudia continues to carry on the legacy of her family's musical lineage with grace and authenticity. Her journey is a testament to the power of passion, perseverance, and the enduring impact of music on the human spirit.

I always tell my students that I learn from them just as much as they do from me, as everyone has unique set of experiences, perspectives, and talents.
As we work together to explore, I am constantly inspired by their creativity, curiosity, and determination.
One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching is witnessing the moments of insight and discovery that occur during our lessons- those “aha” moments.
Together, we are not only learning about music, but also cultivating a lifelong love for music, resulting in a deeper understanding of ourselves, as we push boundaries being exposed to new concepts.
