About Denver
Hi! I'm Denver! I studied at Berklee College of Music, where I received the Lester Lanin escholarship, and now perform classical music. I've been playing guitar for over a decade, starting with progressive metal music and then moving to classical guitar, where I perform pieces from all periods, but mostly focus on 20th century composers. I hope to spark the same excitement in my students that classical guitar continues to bring me every day!

I like to start by asking every new student about their experience with guitar, what they enjoy about playing, and what they hope to get out of classical guitar lessons. This helps me tailor the lessons to each student. I teach the fundamentals of sight reading and theory (scales, chords, arpeggios, voice leading etc.) before moving on to learning pieces the student enjoys, and developing technique from those pieces. My lessons are influenced by my experience at Berklee, and the guitar curriculum there. Let's get playing!
