About Ashton
I'm currently in my final year of Civil Engineering at UOW and I'll be specialising in Structural Engineering. I have experience in structural design consulting, where I have designed building structures through my knowledge of engineering which is built on my understanding of Math and Physics. In high school I completed extension 1 Mathematics and Physics which set myself up well for university.

My teaching methodology begins with understanding what the student is currently doing in class and also the level of understand the student has currently, so I know the right areas to focus on. I will always explain key concepts to the students and show them my solution to an example problem before asking them to try a practice problem. I will then let the student have a go at solving a question and allow them to ask myself any questions. I will then break down the students questions into parts for them to understand.
