I have a 2:2 BEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Greenwich. I have a 2:1 MSc in Civil Engineering also from the University of Greenwich. I am able to explain concepts and work through examples at any pace and have been praised on my teaching skills.

Depending on the subject on hand, the teaching can consist of many examples in order to build skill and confidence in the student. Whereas if the topic on hand is more theoretical, i.e. understanding fluid dynamics or geotechnics then time can be spent more on the theory. Usually a lesson will have both.

Lesson cancellation will incur a cost of half the lesson. For example if 5 hours were booked for £60 and then cancelled, I would charge £30. The advertised rates are for GCSE and A-level tutoring, if you require tutoring at an undergraduate level the hourly rate increases from £14/hour to £20/hour.
