About Seyon
My name is Seyon, and I’m a dedicated and patient maths tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students succeed. I hold an MEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Southampton, which has given me a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving. I approach tutoring with professionalism, clarity and structure, always aiming to build confidence as well as strong exam technique. I work well with students of all ages and abilities, creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and improving step by step.

My lessons are designed to be clear, structured and confidence-building. I use step-by-step explanations, guided practice and exam-style questions to help students understand core concepts. Lessons typically last an hour and a half and are tailored to each student’s ability and goals. I teach all levels from 11+ and KS3 to GCSE, A-Level and Further Maths, supporting learners who need extra help as well as those aiming for top grades. My aim is to make maths feel manageable, logical and achievable for every student.
