About Awais
I am a Civil Engineer currently pursuing my postgraduate studies at University College Cork (UCC). I have always enjoyed mathematics and problem-solving, and I particularly like helping others understand topics that may initially seem difficult.
My engineering background has given me a strong foundation in Mathematics, Physics, Geometry, Trigonometry and Statistics, as well as a practical approach to solving problems.
I am a patient, approachable and organized person, and I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My aim is to create a relaxed learning environment where students can build both their understanding and confidence.
As a postgraduate student at UCC and a Civil Engineer living in Cork, I understand the challenges students face and can relate to both school and University level learnings.

My lessons are personalised to each student's level, needs and goals. Whether you are struggling with a particular topic, preparing for an exam, or simply want to improve your understanding, I will adapt the lesson to suit you.
I focus on making difficult topics simple and easy to understand. We will work through concepts step-by-step, use clear examples, and then practise questions together. I also encourage students to explain their thinking so that they develop genuine understanding and confidence rather than relying on memorisation.
I can provide tuition in Mathematics, Physics, Geometry, Trigonometry and Statistics, from building the fundamentals to tackling more challenging problems.
