About Christian Phillip
Ciao! My name is Christian, and I am thrilled to be your partner in learning Italian. Born in Sydney but raised in Italy from a very young age, I offer a unique, bilingual perspective on the language and culture. My passion for languages began during my studies at the International Grammar School in Sydney, where I developed a love for Spanish, French, and German, before completing my education in Italy at the Istituto Tecnico per il Turismo.
I hold a degree in Political Science from the University of Napoli Federico II and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. Beyond my academic background, I bring over 20 years of experience in luxury retail, including the last decade spent in management. This career has honed my ability to provide exceptional, personalized service, and I am now excited to channel that same professional dedication into helping you reach your language goals. I am a warm, reliable, and culturally rich tutor, and I cannot wait to share the beauty of the Italian language and culture with you!

While we will cover grammar and vocabulary, I prioritize applying them through conversation and real-life scenarios. To deepen your connection to Italy, I provide curated resources, including book recommendations, films, and music.
Learning a language requires commitment, and I am here to provide the strategies and support you need to succeed. I offer one-hour online sessions from Monday to Friday, in the afternoons and evenings. We will work as a team to ensure your progress is rewarding and effective. I am happy to have an initial chat to discuss your interests and how we can work together to achieve your goals.
