About Polina
Hi there! I'm Polina, a native Russian speaker and a professional translator, fluent in English and Chinese. I studied at two universities in East China (Liaocheng University and Qingdao University) and graduated with honors from a Russian university.
I have experience in teaching Chinese to young children, teenagers and adults. Being an international volunteer, I also possess strong communicative skills and know how to connect with people from different cultural and social backgrounds.

My lessons are based on the communicative approach, which means that we:
- try to speak Chinese as much as possible,
- discuss the topics of your interest in Chinese,
- study useful vocabulary and use it in our conversations,
- practice through games and captivating tasks.
I prepare bright presentations and interactive materials for each lesson. We'll listen to Chinese songs, watch cartoons, short videos and TV series. I'll show you that studying Chinese characters is not that hard – creating associations and knowing the origins of words can do wonders!
Chinese is a graphic language, and my lessons prove that studying Chinese is a creative and artistic process.
