About Yu ping
I am a Chinese girl who has lived in Italy for 12 years. Very passionate about languages and the world of fashion.
I am very curious and open to news, my degree thesis I am dedicating to is on Chinese slang used by today's young people, I really like discovering new expressions, idioms, because they are linked to the context. to cultural and social factors, I find it really interesting to study the evolution of a language over time. Language is something dynamic, alive.
I try to convey my passion for languages to my students and I try to make them participate in a very different culture from the Western one by exploiting my knowledge.

Given the complexity of the Chinese language, I usually focus on conversation and dialogue before proceeding with writing.
I integrate many cultural stories during the lessons in order to also cultivate an interest in Chinese culture in the students.
For beginners, I will use the Italian language to explain the basic concepts, while for students who already have a linguistic basis, I will carry out the lessons in Chinese in order to get the students used to the correct pronunciation.
I appeal to students of all age groups (including children) and of all levels. For students, I am also willing to adapt to the school program by giving repetitions for exams.
