About Eileen
I love languages since I was young and being a Chinese in Singapore meant I had the best of both worlds as both languages are native to me.
I was deeply infatuated with Chinese literature and culture (both classic and popular) hence it accelerated the passion I had for the language.
It was an easy choice to do a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese as a result.
The cross references I came across between the two languages while in university also made me appreciate the differences and parallels contrasting cultures had.
