About Rou You

I am currently a PhD student, and teaching has always been my passion, as my long-term goal is to become a professor. Throughout my PhD journey, I have learned how to simplify complex concepts, and I apply the same approach when teaching Chinese. I believe language learning should be clear, structured, and most importantly, enjoyable.

About the lesson

My lessons are structured and goal-oriented. For beginners, I focus on pinyin, tones, basic vocabulary, and simple sentence patterns. For intermediate learners, I emphasize conversational fluency, grammar refinement, and real-life communication skills. I also incorporate cultural elements to make learning more engaging and practical.
