About Ellie
Hi, I’m from Hong Kong and currently studying for a Master’s in Information Systems at the University of Melbourne. Before moving to Australia, I completed my Accounting degree at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and worked in banking for several years.
With both academic and professional experience, I bring a structured, patient, and professional approach to teaching. As a native Cantonese speaker with strong Chinese language skills, I understand how to explain concepts clearly and help students build confidence step by step. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable practicing and improving at their own pace.

I use a practical, student-focused approach that builds confidence in speaking, pronunciation, and everyday communication. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level and goals, using conversation practice, vocabulary building, and clear explanations in a supportive environment.
I’m a Master’s student at the University of Melbourne from Hong Kong, with native Cantonese and strong Chinese language skills. My lessons are mainly for beginners to intermediate students, including school students and adults. A typical class is 60 minutes.
