About Hellen
Hello, my name is Hellen, a native Chinese speaker from Shanghai. I have been an English teacher for 15 years. I hold the English teaching certificate and TEM8 certificate(it is the highest level for English major students at university.) I’ve taught students ranging from beginner level to advanced level. Whether they are kids or adults, all of my students have been enjoying interacting with me, which is a huge highlight in my class. When it comes to teaching a language, I do believe that it is not just teaching the language itself, but also sharing the culture and practical skills as well. And because of that, I give more than teaching. I also share cultures, such as stories, Chinese festivals, etc., and expand content based on the topic. No matter what topic I talk about, I elaborate, I pause, we practice, we discuss, we learn and make progress altogether.
