About Donna

Hello everyone! My name is Yi Liang, but you can also call me Donna. I’m very glad to meet you. I was born in China and now live in Canada. I have many years of teaching experience, and I especially enjoy exploring knowledge and sharing happiness with my students. I believe that learning is like an exciting adventure—every question and every attempt is an opportunity to discover a new world! In my classes, I like to use interactive methods and games to create a relaxed atmosphere where everyone can learn and make progress. I hope my lessons will feel both fun and rewarding for you. As a teacher, my goal is to be both a companion and a guide on your learning journey, helping you achieve breakthroughs in your studies and career. Outside of teaching, I love reading, crocheting, traveling, and trying different kinds of food. These experiences have shown me how diverse and wonderful the world is, and I often bring little stories from them into my classes to share with you. Thank you.

About the lesson

I have 3 years of teaching and training experience and have worked as a Chinese language teacher at a local Chinese language training center in Canada. I provide Chinese learning guidance to students of different ages and proficiency levels, helping them steadily improve their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Chinese.

I have in-depth research and teaching experience in Chinese speaking and writing, hotel management, cross-cultural communication, and business English. I am proficient in using multimedia tools to enhance classroom efficiency and interaction.

I also have extensive practical experience and understanding of cross-cultural education, enabling me to teach effectively in international and diverse environments.
