About Eryka
Hello my name is Eryka Khumalo, I’m 21 years old. I am an enthusiastic English tutor with a 120-hour TEFL certificate and a diploma in child psychology. I speak fluent English, isiZulu, and German, which helps me connect with students from different language backgrounds and understand the challenges of learning a new language. I am a polyglot, a studious and multifaceted young lady. I absorb a lot of personal development material, I love involving myself in community services, as well as attaining new hobbies and skills that are mentally, physically, and spiritually stimulating. Some of the skills are: relationship building, task prioritization, active listening, cultural competency, and throwing humor from time to time.

I love my students and demonstrate how to resolve better the lives of future generations in my daily work. I encourage my students on how to become the best versions of themselves and do exceptionally in all areas of their lives. I respect all my students, regardless of their age and skill, as I understand that respect is a two-way street and I always make them feel special, important, and unique. My teaching style is supportive, engaging, and study-focused. I love helping learners build confidence through real conversation, useful vocabulary, and lessons that are both fun and practical!
