About Nico
In my own time I am a practicing artist and regularly play chess online. I graduated from my BFA at National Art School in 2019. I have worked casually as an Assistant Art Teacher at the Leo Kelly Blacktown Arts Centre since January 2021. The classes included children from ages 4-12, 13-18 and mature age individuals. In addition to this I have also done support work which involved caring for physically disadvantaged individuals.
I am a passionate chess player and appreciate the intricacies and complexities of the game which I am excited to share with students.

I will personally help you to develop the qualities of a growth driven mindset, such as patience and the ability to break down different chess positions and specific lines. In addition to practical skills such as conscious time management in chess games, understanding of opening theory, tac-tics and basic principles to specific chess piece relationships.
