My Approach as a Tutor:
I focus on creating a supportive and interactive learning environment tailored to each student’s skill level and goals. My teaching method breaks down complex chess concepts into simple, understandable parts, using a mix of explanation, demonstration, and practice.
Teaching Methods and Techniques:
I use real-game analysis, tactical puzzles, and position drills to reinforce learning. I encourage students to think critically and understand why moves are made, not just what moves to play. This helps build strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
Typical Lesson Plan:
Quick review of previous concepts and homework
Introduction of new topic (openings, tactics, endgames, etc.)
Guided practice through puzzles and example games
Analysis of student’s own games for personalized feedback
Assign practice tasks to improve weaknesses
What Sets Me Apart:
Patience and adaptability define my tutoring. I adjust my teaching style to fit each student’s pace and learning preferences. I focus on building confidence and problem-solving skills, not just memorization.
Who the Lessons Are For:
I teach beginners and intermediate players, including school and university students or anyone wanting to improve foundational and tactical chess skills. Whether new to chess or looking to sharpen their game, my lessons are designed to help learners progress effectively.
