About Skylar
I've played chess my entire life. I've had breaks in between my play, but this last year I've focused greatly on bolstering my skill as well as my confidence in my ability to pass along knowledge to newer players. I feel that I'm able to add a fun shade to the game or unique ways to think about piece interactions.

You should take my lessons because I understand the learning mind of a chess player, and I understand what concepts people struggle with as well as what people would like to learn. I'm different than other chess teachers because I add a sense of vibrance to a game some people tend to perceive as boring. I would never want to bore a beginner because that would reduce their chance of playing onward. My lessons are designed for people anywhere from not having played before, beginner level, as well as intermediate level. If you have an elo below 1600 and view yourself as advanced, this class would definitely help you.
