About Udaya madhav
Hello! I am a passionate chess coach dedicated to introducing beginners and young learners to the beauty of chess. I believe chess is far more than just a game—it is an exceptional tool to build logical thinking, patience, concentration, and spatial awareness.
Over the past years, I have trained students from scratch, taking them from learning how the pieces move to confidently playing complete games with sound opening principles and tactical vision. Whether your child is looking for a fun new hobby or wants to start competing in local school tournaments, I tailor every lesson to their unique learning pace.

My classes are structured, visual, and highly interactive. I break complex concepts down into bite-sized, easy-to-understand steps so students never feel overwhelmed.
What a typical class includes:
Warm-Up (10 mins): Fun tactical puzzles to sharpen pattern recognition.
Core Concept (20 mins): Interactive lesson on openings, middle-game tactics (forks, pins, skewers), or essential endgames using Lichess/Chess.com interactive boards.
Practice Play (20 mins): Guided gameplay where the student applies the day's concept in real time.
Game Analysis (10 mins): Friendly review of the played game to highlight good decisions and correct mistakes.
