About Hilyan
Hello, I'm Hilyan Dogaron, a chess player in a Poitiers club for the past year. I've been passionate about chess for almost two years and I love introducing people to the game. I'm not necessarily the strongest player, and I know it, but according to several members of my club, I'm a good teacher. Would you rather learn with a Grandmaster who doesn't motivate you to improve, or with someone who, while perhaps less skilled, is understanding and passionate? (And less expensive too!)

I'm 18 years old and I've been teaching chess for a year now, to both children and adult beginners. The structure of my lessons can vary depending on your starting and target levels, but generally they follow this outline: 1: I review your recent games or we play several games together. 2: I analyze the tactical themes you need to work on and we solve problems based on these themes. 3: I give you the necessary tips to help you remember what you need to work on. 4: We play a few games together, pushing the tactical themes further to see if you've retained the lesson. 5: You'll be happy because you'll be able to challenge yourself and reach the next level.
