About Thomas
I am a 1900-rated chess player from Montreal who speaks both English and French. I have taught chess to many people from complete beginners to moderately experienced players. I have no problem teaching both kids and adults. I am willing to do it in person or online.

I have taught chess to many kids and adults, some who did not know the rules, all the way to the 1500 club players.
I have a unique approach to teaching chess, teaching the things that will actually help you climb in rank (I.e. we will not be going over countless GM games). I will get you to an advanced level quickly and pain-free, having learned all the fundamental techniques.
These lessons are good for anyone under 1600, who wants to know the things that will actually help them improve.
