About Aravindan

I finished my M.C.A and M.B.A and working as Fide Arbiter and Chess Coach for more than 12 years. Taking Chess classes in Schools and Academy. Our students achieve top 3 prizes in District, State and National level chess tournament. Students got rating from different Fide Rating International Chess Tournaments. Our students not only get top prizes in the chess competition, they also get excellent marks in school exams, because of doing lots of chess puzzles works daily.

About the lesson

We start from Movement of pieces to Opening Traps, Middle Game Tactics and Endgame ideas. Good in building strong relationships with kids to make them understand easy. Having the right training materials to teach the kids excel in chess.

Good in chess basic rules and playing nice. But sometime forgets to see the attacks from opponent and also not having proper plan to attack the opponent. Not interact much with the coach. Need to talk with the coach free to learn well.

Yadgiri is having good interest. She need to practice more with the pieces. Some time she get stuck with Knight, Pawn & Bishop movements. She need regular practice to become good chess player.

Amrith is good in movement of pieces, little bit focus is required to see the attacking of pieces and controlling squares of opponent pieces. To do more with attacking and defending need more concentration. Will be good with it after some classes.

Great mentor/teacher/motivator for Kids.

Our Son Nirish has been attending the chess classes in Elite Chess Academy for 6+ months. We are seeing a great improvement day by day not just the way he solves the puzzles but also playing it very patiently. Nirish was 5.5 years old when he joined the class and he can't sit in a place for not more than 15 minutes, but when it comes to chess, he could sit for hours. Chess & Kids, I love teaching chess to improve kids concentration and focus to lead a better life.
When did you start developing an interest in your subject area?
Started when I was 6 years.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
Viswanathan Anand. He wanted to continue playing even other Grand Master already retired at this age.
What is the biggest obstacle you had to overcome in mastering your craft?
To play in chess tournaments, I had to travel different places which was hard those days.
In your opinion, what makes someone excel in your subject area?
Need much time and patience to excel chess.
What would you say to a student who says, "This is too difficult, I give up!"?
If you think hard, then it will become more hard. So you have to think positive that "I can do it" / "I have the power to solve it" / "Its very easy for me", tell this to your mind every day.
