About Michael
Michael is a mechanical engineer who plays chess for passion. He's been playing since he was 7, when his cousin taught him the basic moves of the pieces and has been obsessed with the game ever since!
Since 2021, Michael has been involved in chess clubs, helping children and adults improve their game and gain more confidence through winning. Many students realize their potential this way and find great friends along the way.

You may have had trouble with your opponents and at some point, thought that you weren't simply just good enough.
That's not true.
To win the games, you need to know what you're doing, how you play your openings, how you develop your pieces, how you see tactics ahead and the patterns that come before and during checkmate.
That's what we learn and practice together!
When we take a class together, you'll be assessed based on what you already know and what improvements we could make. We will then pave the road to ELO 1600 and beyond!
