About Naomi
I completed my Bachelor’s in Chemistry from the University of Wyoming, where I assisted with K–12 lab events and science preparation programs. Over 6+ years of teaching (mostly online), I’ve learned how to break down even the most complex topics into understandable explanations. Parents describe my approach as “organized, patient, and extremely clear,” and students enjoy how relatable chemistry becomes in my sessions.

I teach Chemistry through strong foundations. Students first understand particles, energy, reactions, and everyday chemical behavior. Once they feel comfortable, we gradually explore Organic Chemistry’s structural patterns, Biochemistry’s living processes, Electrochemistry’s movement of charge, and Food Chemistry’s real-world transformations. My focus is on clarity rather than memorization—I help them understand why reactions happen, not just the steps. This prepares them well for college-level general chemistry, where analytical thinking is essential. My language is friendly, clear, and never rushed, helping students feel supported through every topic.
